M.A., Ed.S., NCSP

My name is Shelley Alston, and I am a first-year school psychologist. I attended James Madison University for my undergraduate studies and returned to become a Triple Duke, earning my Ed.S. and M.A. degrees while being actively involved in JMU’s latest upper-voices a cappella group, where I served as president. In between undergraduate and graduate school, I worked as a behavioral assistant with children with autism, inspiring my thesis work on the female autism phenotype. I now live in Cabarrus County with my husband and our two Boston Terriers, Periwinkle and Indigo.
