A woman with long, wavy brown hair and glasses smiles at the camera.Welcome to the 2025-2026 school year! I'm happy to be returning to Carl A. Furr Elementary this year! I'm beginning my 7th year as a school psychologist. I graduated from Appalachian State with my undergraduate degree in Psychology with minors in Sociology and English. I attended Winthrop University for my Masters and Specialist degrees in School Psychology! I also completed a Masters in Cognitive and Neuropsychology from University of Kent in Canterbury, England. While the role of a school psychologist is extremely diverse, my favorite areas include assessments, data analysis, and MTSS. Additionally, I enjoy learning about and evaluating for Autism Spectrum Disorder, Dyslexia, and Traumatic Brain Injury. In my free time, I like to play with my dogs, Fitzgerald & Bee, spend time with my husband, read, and explore Charlotte with my friends!
