School psychologist, Brielle Smith, with long brown hair smiles at the camera.I am a fully licensed third-year school psychologist, although this is my fourth year in the district, as I completed my graduate program internship here. I attended Appalachian State University for both my undergraduate and graduate studies. I have a professional interest in play-based preschool assessment, early childhood development, autism assessment, and supporting the understanding and use of multi-tiered systems of academic and social-emotional support. I serve on the Autism Problem Solving Team and Preschool Assessment Team, and am currently training to become an NCDPI TBI Approved Provider (TBI Trained School Psychologist).
