PLEASE NOTE Important Info Below

Cabarrus County Schools provides foreign language interpreters for many languages and American Sign Language interpreters.  Any staff member may request an interpreter for conferences, meetings, or school-wide events.

Cabarrus County Schools employs 5 Spanish interpreters who can be scheduled for conferences, meetings, school-wide events, and document translations. Any other language needed will be requested through our interpretation services. Please use the Interpreter Request Form below to request interpreters or translations. 

Requests are processed on Monday and Friday. 

*** Please give at least a two-week notice for all requests ***

Before submitting an interpreter request, please confirm the date and time with the parent. Schools are responsible for making their own arrangements for communicating and coordinating events with the parents.

The following information is required when requesting an interpreter:

  • Date
  • Time
  • Language
  • Location
  • Staff member interpreter will assist
  • Type of conference
