Self-Service Password Registration/Reset (SSPR) & Instructions
CCS Technology is committed to securing staff accounts while making password management more convenient. To support this, we’ve enabled Self-Service Password Reset (SSPR) for all staff. This feature allows you to set or reset your CCS (cabarrus.k12.nc.us) password anytime, from any device, anywhere.
To get started, all staff are required to register by setting up personal security information linked to their CCS account. This step is essential to enable future password resets.
Registration Steps:
- All CCS Staff will be required to register during their next Microsoft login if not already completed. Choose “I want to set up a different method” to access other options besides Phone. Please do not click “Skip setup” because when your password is forgotten, you will be locked out until technical staff can assist.
- Users will also have to reconfirm their registered sign-in methods every 365 days. Users can also complete the steps manually by following the instructions below.
- Visit LinkLinkLink
- Log in using your CCS credentials.
- Under “Security Info,” click "Add sign-in method.” You must add a method other than password.
- Phone (Call or Text)
- Alternate Phone (Call or Text)
- Email (apps.cabarrus.k12.nc.us)
- Security Questions (Must set 3 questions)
