Learn more about the 2026 School Bond at a Community Forum

Cabarrus County Schools is inviting parents, staff and community members to attend one of three CCS School Bond Community Forums this fall to learn more about the 2026 school bond referendum.
Each forum will provide an overview of the proposed bond projects, facility needs, funding and other key information. Attendees will also have an opportunity to ask questions and hear directly from CCS staff.
All forums will be held from 6:30–7:30 p.m.
- Thursday, September 17 | Cox Mill High School
- Tuesday, October 6 | Central Cabarrus High School
- Thursday, October 22 | H.E. Winkler Middle School
The forums are open to the public and designed to provide factual information about the school bond referendum. Community members are welcome to attend whichever location and date is most convenient.
Whether you have questions about the projects included in the bond, why the projects are needed, how bond funding works or what the financial impact would be, these forums are an opportunity to learn more before Election Day on November 3rd.
We hope you’ll join us and learn more about the 2026 CCS School Bond.
The proposed Cabarrus County Schools GO Bond will appear on the November 3, 2026 ballot.
