The holidays are here—and so is your chance to shine!

Cabarrus County Schools invites all students to design this year’s official Superintendent’s Holiday eCard, inspired by the theme “Snowflakes and School Spirit.”

Whether you love to draw, paint, color, or doodle, this is your moment to share what makes winter—and Cabarrus County Schools—so special. Your artwork could be featured in official CCS holiday greetings sent to families, staff, and community partners across the district!


🎨 Who Can Enter

  • Traditional Art Contest: Open to all Elementary, Middle, and High School students.

  • Coloring Contest: Open to Pre-K–2nd Grade students using the official CCS coloring page.


🏆 Prizes & Recognition

Six winners will be chosen:

  • One Overall Winner

  • One Traditional Art Winner at each level: Elementary, Middle, and High School

  • One Coloring Winner for PK–K

  • One Coloring Winner for Grades 1–2

All winners will receive a prize pack from our amazing sponsors—Uwharrie Bank and Edward Jones—and will be recognized by the Superintendent at the January 2026 Board of Education Meeting.

  • Deadline: Monday, December 15, 2025, at Noon

  • Winners Announced: Wednesday, December 17, 2025

Holiday eCard Contest Information

The deadline to enter the 2025 Superintendent's Holiday eCard Contest is Noon, Monday, December 15, 2025.

Winners will be notified by email on Wednesday, December 17, 2025. 

ELIGIBILITY

  • Elementary, middle, and high school students are invited to submit original artwork to be included in the Superintendent’s official holiday communications. Students in grades PK-2 may submit their coloring pages for consideration in the coloring contest.

RECOGNITION

  • The winning designs will be selected by a group of district employees and the Superintendent on the basis of originality, theme, and overall design. One overall winner and three division winning designs will be selected from the Traditional Design Category in the elementary school, middle school and high school divisions. Students whose original works are selected will be recognized by the Superintendent during the Board of Education meeting on Monday, January 12, 2026.
