  • Military recruiters from all branches sharing pathways to service and leadership.
  • Food trucks!
  • Our Program Choice schools fair — including new magnet programs set to launch for the 2026-27 school year.

New Program Choice options for 2026-27

  • Concord Middle School: Academy of Global Innovation

Concord Middle School is launching the Academy of Global Innovation, a new magnet program designed to strengthen student experience and expand advanced academic opportunities for middle schoolers across Cabarrus County.

The program provides early access to high school coursework and hands-on, real-world learning experiences, allowing students to earn up to four high school credits in Computer Science, Civics, Spanish I, and Math I. Rooted in innovation and problem-based learning, the Academy integrates artificial intelligence and emerging technologies to prepare globally minded, future-ready students.

The Academy of Global Innovation is open to all CCS middle school students through the district’s Program Choice process. Families can learn more at the Futures Fair or at the Concord Middle School Open House on October 22, 2025, at 5:30 p.m.

  • Patriots STEM Elementary: Expanding Access to STEM

Patriots STEM Elementary continues to lead with its nationally recognized STEM curriculum that blends Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics through inquiry, collaboration, and creativity.

Starting with the 2026–27 school year, Patriots STEM Elementary will offer Program Choice seats for rising Kindergarten students who live outside the school’s attendance zone, expanding access to one of the district’s most sought-after programs. Students zoned for Harrisburg Elementary, Hickory Ridge Elementary, and Bethel Elementary, may apply for the STEM program at Patriots STEM Elementary.

Families can learn more about Patriots’ innovative approach to learning at the Futures Fair or at the Patriots STEM Elementary Open House on October 28, 2025, at 5:30 p.m.
