Agriculture Career Pathways

Agricultural Education is a series of pathways that prepare students for successful careers in the global agriculture, food, fiber and natural resources systems.  Agricultural Education prepares students for more than 300 careers in the agriculture industry including production, financing, processing, marketing and distribution of agricultural products. This program develops leaders for the vast network of supporting careers that provide the supplies, services, management and conservation of our natural resource systems.

Agricultural Education includes curriculum offerings for students in grades 6 through 12.  The program is designed to provide students with appropriate, comprehensive preparation for careers and post-secondary education in the Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources Career Cluster.  Courses in Agricultural Education include Environmental and Natural Resources, Horticulture, Landscaping, Animal Science – Small Animal, Animal Science – Large Animal, and Equine Science.
