Due to Bus staffing issues we have had some delays getting students to and from school this school year.  We apologize for any inconvenience that this may have caused. We are working diligently on becoming fully staffed.   

• Currently the Bus Driver Training is for people seeking employment with Cabarrus County School. 
• If interested, please apply at  Cabarrus County School  link will be located under Employment. 
• Once your application is reviewed, your name is then submitted for a background check, once that is cleared you will then be interviewed and then be placed on the Virtual School Bus list if needed to obtain CDL’s along with P and S endorsements.

In the event that a 2-Hour delay is initiated by the Superintendent, please note the following information.  A 2-Hour delay simply means that bus routes will be delayed by 2 hours (If a stop time is at 7:27 AM then the 2-hour delay stop time will be 9:27 AM) and schools will begin exactly 2 hours later than normal for students and staff (If the school begins at 7:15 AM then the 2-hour delay beginning will be 9:15 AM). Also, students will still be released at their normal time from school and buses will deliver students home based on their normal daily schedule.

High School only Exam Days/Early Release Days are: 11:30 AM
