CCS partners with Chamber for C4 Day

On Wednesday, Cabarrus County Schools juniors and seniors had the opportunity to take part in Cabarrus County Career Connections Day (C4 Day), an enriching event combining a career fair and business expo.  

The Cabarrus Regional Chamber of Commerce collaborated with Cabarrus County Schools, Cabarrus County Economic Development Corporation, Cabarrus College of Health Sciences, Kannapolis City Schools, Kannapolis Education Foundation, NC Works Career Center, and Rowan-Cabarrus Community College to organize this initiative.  

All businesses in Cabarrus County were invited to join and were encouraged to engage students by offering hands-on experiences in various career fields, promoting job openings, and informing students about alternative pathways for career education through community colleges, trade schools, and other post-secondary learning opportunities.  

It was a remarkable opportunity for all involved to explore and connect with the diverse career options available in our community.
