Personnel announcement

Superintendent Dr. John Kopicki has announced the following personnel appointment, which was approved by our Board of Education on Monday, January 8th. 

Kiera Parker, Middle School Director at Charlotte Lab School, has been named assistant principal at Jay M. Robinson High School replacing Audrey Lee Bost, who has transferred to the same position at C.C. Griffin STEM Middle School.  Kiera will begin her role at Jay M. Robinson High School in late January.

Kiera previously served as the Dean of Students at McClintock Middle School (Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools (CMS)) prior to serving in her current position. She began her educational career as a Spanish teacher at Harding University High School (CMS) in 2013.

Kiera holds a bachelor's degree from Kenyon College and a master's degree from Winthrop University.
