Dia Latino Event at Appalachian State University

-Appalachian State University will be hosting Dia Latino, a free one-day event on Friday, October 27 from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.! This event will give high school juniors and seniors a first-hand view of Appalachian.

 

-Participants will experience our beautiful location and learn about the Appalachian classroom experience, campus life for Latino students, and receive helpful scholarship and financial aid information. They'll also engage with current students and students from our Hispanic Student Association, tour the campus and apply for admission (application fees will be waived).

 

-Students who are competitive for admission at Appalachian typically have a 3.5 weighted grade point average and a 1100 SAT or 22 ACT (composite).

 

-Activities will be either bilingual or in Spanish. Students may bring two guests. Lunch and a light breakfast will be provided to all.
