Teacher is Outstanding Educator

Congratulations to R. Brown McAllister STEM Elementary School Teacher Carla Looney, who was named the Cabarrus County Schools Outstanding Elementary Mathematics Educator! She will represent Cabarrus County Schools in November at the North Carolina Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCCTM) Conference.
 
NCCTM is the professional organization in the state for the all persons responsible for the teaching of mathematics and includes teachers from all levels – kindergarten through graduate school – and other professionals who work with curriculum and materials for the teaching of mathematics. It is an affiliate of the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics.
