Tenured Retirees Honored

Longest Tenured Retirees Honored

CCS Interim Superintendent Brian Schultz made surprise visits today to honor the district’s longest tenured employees who are set to retire in June. Congratulations to:
  • Suzanne Shearon, a teacher at Charles E. Boger Elementary School, who will retire with 33 years of service
  • Judy York, a teacher assistant at Rocky River Elementary School, who will retire with 40 years of service
We are celebrating our 2020-2021 retirees all week long. Be sure to visit our Human Resources Department site for a special salute to retirees and check back later in the week for coverage of more celebratory events.

Thank you, Mrs. Shearon and Mrs. York for your many, many years of dedicated service to Cabarrus County Schools and congratulations on your retirement!
