Personnel Announcements 07/10/2019
Superintendent Chris Lowder announced the following personnel changes today.
Audrey-Lee Bost will join Cabarrus County Schools as an assistant principal at Jay M. Robinson High School, replacing Amanda Macon, who resigned from the district to join Rowan-Salisbury Schools.
Bost most recently worked in Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools as a dean of students at Vance High School. She also worked as a principal intern and a social studies teacher at the school. Prior to joining Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, Audrey-Lee worked for Wake County Public Schools.
She earned a bachelor’s degree from North Carolina State University and a master’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
She will join the leadership team at Jay M. Robinson on July 22nd.
Elizabeth Foster, assistant principal at Central Cabarrus High School, will transfer to Rocky River Elementary School, replacing Justin Poole, who resigned.
Foster joined Cabarrus County Schools in 2006 and has worked as a classroom teacher, lead teacher and administrative intern at Concord and Hickory Ridge Middle Schools. She joined the leadership team at Central Cabarrus High School in 2014.
She earned a bachelor’s degree from LeMoyne College and a master’s degree from Wingate University.
She will join the Rocky River leadership team on August 1st.
Chelsey Vesey, lead teacher at Wolf Meadow Elementary School, has been named assistant principal at the school, replacing Courtney Smith, who, as previously announced, transferred to Hickory Ridge Middle School.
Vesey joined Cabarrus County Schools in 2011 as a classroom teacher at Wolf Meadow Elementary School. She worked at Concord Middle School as a principal intern before stepping into her current role at Wolf Meadow.
She earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
Her first day as assistant principal at Wolf Meadow was July 9th.
