Students will spend five and one-half weeks at one of two program locations – East Campus at Meredith College in Raleigh or West Campus at High Point University in High Point – where they will integrate academic disciplines, the arts and unique courses.
Criteria for selection included grades, aptitude and achievement test scores and teacher recommendations. Students in the performing/visual arts were required to audition. Nominations were submitted to the N.C. Department of Public Instruction, and a statewide committee made the selections.
