CCS Students Participate in SAVE Promise Clubs 11/20/2018
On Friday, November 16, select SAVE Promise Club student leaders attended a workshop at Winkler Middle School. The workshop was led by Sandy Hook Promise and provided students with the tools to return to their schools to implement effective violence prevention programs. SAVE Promise Clubs at participating schools are led by students for students, which gives members the opportunity to lead the planning and execution of youth safety campaigns for their peers. Each CCS middle school has a SAVE Promise Club. The clubs plan activities around SHP’s Know the Signs violence prevention programs and other activities aimed at creating a safe and connected school and community environment.
