October is National Bullying Prevention Month 10/01/2018
Every October, individuals from the across the nation, and around the world, unite in a campaign to keep all youth safe from bullying. National Bullying Prevention Month is a nationwide campaign founded in 2006 by PACER’s National Bullying Prevention Center.
Every day thousands of young people experience bullying from their peers while at school, after school in their neighborhoods, and even when they are at home, through social media and texts. The campaign unites communities around the world to educate and raise awareness of bullying prevention. Cabarrus County Schools is proud to join in this annual effort. Throughout the month, students and staff will initiate and participate in activities and events designed to encourage kindness and inclusion.
