    June 11, 2019

Summer break is close. There are only a few days left in the 2018-2019 school year.

It’s been another great year for Cabarrus County Schools with our students and staff excelling in the classroom and beyond. We’ve had athletic teams compete at the highest level of competition in the state. We’ve had students win local, state and regional competitions and even compete on the world stage. We’ve seen our teachers and staff members honored for their excellence and professional skills. I am proud of our students and staff. It is an honor to be a part of this school system.

Congratulations are in order for the winners of the 9th Annual Ellis Jewelers Future Designer Contest. Thanks to Dan Levinson and Ellis Jewelers for creating this terrific program that showcases our students’ talents. Students’ original designs were chosen, and Ellis Jewelers brought their designs to life.

Parents have a few more days to complete our Annual Parent Satisfaction Survey. The deadline has been extended to June 14th. Your feedback helps us improve, so I encourage you to take this opportunity to share your thoughts about critical issues such as academic preparation, student support, school operations and school safety.
