First Grade Teacher
Mount Pleasant Elementary School

This year begins my 27th year of teaching. It is my 18th year at MPES. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education  and a degree in Psychology at the University of North Carolina at Asheville.   

I grew up in the mountains of North Carolina. I married my husband, Jason, who is a native to Mount Pleasant. We have two children, Sydney and Luke. Sydney is a junior in college and Luke is a senior at MPHS.

I love to spend time with my family, going to the beach, playing with my chocolate Labrador Retriever, Marley,  and watching college basketball.

 I look  forward to embarking on this journey with your student and working with you as a team to help make this school year a success.
