Tuesday, January 19, 2021 is the beginning of the 3rd quarter and the return of students to in-person, or Plan B, instruction. If your child has been learning in Plan C, which is the 100% remote option, you as parents have the opportunity to change to in-person learning 2 days a week or to remain as you are currently. It is mandatory, per CCS, to fill out a form for each student you have attending! You can access the form HERE. Beginning Tuesday, January 19, 2021 (first day of the 3rd Quarter) the updated Cabarrus County Schools Attendance Guidelines will go into effect. Please review the document HERE to review these modified guidelines and thank you for the opportunity to partner with you in your child's education. This has been an extremely challenging time, but we are thankful for the support of our families and our community to support teaching and learning through this pandemic!
Middle School Athletics Update
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Cabarrus County Schools will offer a Spring Sports only schedule for the 2020-2021 school year for middle school students. Fall and winter sports will not be played this year. Sports that will be offered this spring are: baseball, volleyball, boys and girls soccer, and boys and girls track. The tentative start date for middle school spring sports is Monday, March 22, 2021. #goTitans
Our NCMS Student Council has begun collecting Box Tops for Education points to raise money for our school, however, things are being done a little different this year. There is now an App that you will need to download and use to scan receipts......no more cutting boxes! There will be a Curbside Book Checkout from our Media Center every Weds. from 10am - 2pm in the car rider circle! Students will need to submit HOLDS in Destiny, the media system (available in Student Links or Mrs. York's Media Page), by 7pm the evening of the week they wish to check out a book.
