Mrs. Lindsay Blackburne

Welcome Parents and Guardians,

My name is Lindsay Blackburne and I am the Dance Director at Cox Mill High School.  Because this is the first way for me to introduce myself to many of you, I will begin by giving you a bit of my background history.  I graduated from Jacksonville University, in Jacksoville, Florida having obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Dance Education.  Following graduation, I continued my professional career dance performing on Disney Cruise Line for two years where I met my husband who is from Australia.  I then moved to Arizona to begin both a high school and a middle school dance program.  Five years ago, my husband, daughter and I moved back to the east coast to be closer to my family and I continued teaching by building Hopewell High School's first dance program.  In 2016, we welcomed our son into our family.  I am blessed to have this opportunity at Cox Mill High School and look forward to working with your children and building its dance program.
