The International Baccalaureate Organization has officially recognized
Concord Middle School as an IB MYP Relocation Candidate School.

Our Evaluation Visit is now complete.  We are grateful to everyone who participated in the preparation and interviews: students, parents, teachers, staff members, Concord High students, Concord High and Irvin Elementary coordinators, district personnel, etc.  We anticipate feedback between one to three months after April 17, 2018.

Since the beginning of the 2016-2017 school year, we have been taking steps towards understanding the IB framework, and now we have are continuing those steps in implementation for the 2017-2018 school year.   Authorization is anticipated to move from JN Fries to Concord Middle after a successful re-authorization visit in the spring of 2018.  The Evaluation Team will visit classrooms, speak with students, parents, administrators, teachers, staff members, and district personnel.  They will also have the opportunity to review various submitted documents including unit plans, rubrics, assessment examples, and community projects.
What a great opportunity to showcase all of the hard work by our school!
