Degrees and Certifications:
MA Ed Ursuline College Ohio
I can't wait to meet each of you in person, but until then, we will have a fantastic virtual start:) The 2020-2021 school year is my third year teaching at Winkler Middle School. I have fifteen years of experience teaching in Ohio. I have previously taught in grades 3rd - 12th, but I especially love teaching middle school. I am married and have a son and daughter who currently attend Cox Mill High School. I am originally from Cleveland, Ohio, and moved to Charlotte six years ago. We are adjusting well and certainly do not miss the snow. Outside of school, my family enjoys spending time together, whether it is at a concert, the beach, or cheering on our favorite Ohio sports teams! GO BROWNS! I am excited to get to know my new students and watching them grow both academically and socially.
We will be using Canvas as our online curriculum platform. You can access Canvas from the Winkler homepage located in the lower left-hand corner. (right above quick links) Once you click on Canvas you will see your classes. In addition, we will meet virtually via Teams. Teams will be linked to our Canvas page as well. Below you will find the CTE course objectives and goals for our semester-long classes. I love to laugh and have fun while learning. We are going to have a great year! "See" y'all soon:)If you need to contact me, email is the best way to reach me. Click the link under my picture.
