A little about me...
My name is Maria Ielati. I am so excited to join the Cabarrus County Virtual Academy. This is my fifth year teaching in Cabarrus County. Before coming to the Virtual Academy I taught at A.T. Allen Elementary in 3rd grade and Kindergarten. In 2016 I relocated from New York City with my husband and daughter, who is a fourth grader this year. She is also excited to join the Virtual Academy. This will be my 20th year as a classroom teacher. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education, as well as a Master’s Degree in Students with Disabilities. I am also certified in ESL. When I am not at school I enjoy spending time with my family, taking road trips and DIY projects.
Communicating with me...
Email is the best way to reach me. My email is firstname.lastname@example.org. I will also set up a REMIND for all families. This will make our communication easy!
I look forward to working with you and your child this year. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or concerns. You can email me at maria.ielati@Cabarrus.k12.nc.us.
