Welcome to CTE-ProStart and Food and Nutrition 1! I am a graduate of Norfolk State University with a B.S. degree in Hotel/Restaurant/Institutional Management. I served 22 years in the United States Navy (USNR Ret.) as a Culinary Specialist. I owned a specialty boutique bakery, Saturday Morning Cakes, in Harrisburg, NC., where I specialized in Wedding & Sculpted Cakes.
I am delighted to teach ProStart and Food and Nutrition1 this semester! I hope that your participation in my classes will spark an interest in the Foods and Nutrition profession.
