Degrees and Certifications:
Ms. Stephanie Nesbitt
Good Afternoon!I hope you all have had a wonderful weekend! Tomorrow starts a new phase in our remote learning. Students will begin working on lessons using Canvas. These lessons are self paced and will be available Monday-Friday. All lessons this week are review. We will not begin teaching new content until the week of April 6th. On the right hand side of the Bethel webpage about halfway down, there is an extended home learning link. This link has good information for you as a parent and also tells you how students will access their online course. In order for students to access Canvas, they need to open the Bethel webpage. (Here is a link showing you how to access Clever) On the right hand side under the kindergarten registration link, there are several buttons. Students will open the clever icon and scroll down until they see the Canvas link. When they open Canvas they will see green buttons with each subject listed. When you click a specific subject, it will open and they will need to click on the link with the weeks dates (March 30-April 3). There they will find mini lesson videos as well as tasks for them to complete. These are self paced! Students should not feel they need to complete them all in one day. There will not be any new material added...what's there is what's there for the whole week. When students complete the google tasks it will ask them to log in with an email. They should use their normal username and add @st.cabarrus.k12.nc.us to the end of their username. For example Sam Fish - username: sfish1234 would enter: firstname.lastname@example.org. The password is the same (their student id number). If you have any questions or are having trouble please feel free to contact me. I will have "office hours" the same as normal school hours (9-11am-2-3pm). I will also be calling to check in with each family again throughout the week so if you see a restricted number it's probably me 😊. Thank you as always for your support!
Good Morning!I hope you are all well. I know several of you have reached out about additional resources to use while we are out of school. The second grade team has created a document with several links. Please use this link to view:We are taking it moment by moment and only time will tell what our future holds. Please continue to use Cabarrus County Connect Ed phone calls for the most up to date information regarding closings and curriculum resources.
