Degrees and Certifications:
Mrs. Beth Payne
Hello Dragon Parents and Students! Welcome to the 2020-21 school year! We are so glad to have you with us! This is definitely a different start, but one that we will work through together. I am here as a support to students and families as we learn and grow.
This is my 15th year as a school counselor and 20th year working in NC's public schools. I earned my BS in Special Education from Appalachian State in 2001 and my Master's in School Counseling in 2006 from UNC-Pembroke.
Outside of school, my husband and I enjoy family time with our children, daughter (13) and son (7). Each day is a gift with them!
I truly love working with children! It is my privilege to serve as your child's school counselor. I look forward to helping each of my students have a wonderful school year! Please reach out if I can be of assistance to you.
