Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Leah Mullen (Carroll)

My name is Leah Mullen, and this is my 8th year with CCS, but my 1st year at Jay M. Robinson.

I am originally from Scranton, PA, where I attended Lackawanna College with a softball scholarship, graduated with an associates degree, and transferred to West Chester University to complete my bachelors degree in Health and Physical Education.
This year I will be teaching Freshmen Health/PE and will be coaching Softball.

I am also a Certified Yoga Teacher (CYT200) and "Social Emotional Learning Facilitator" (SEL*F) through Breathe For Change.

I am excited about beginning my new journey with this community!

Please feel free to contact me, email or SportsYou being your best option, whenever needed!

Wellness for the Mind and Body

This course will help the student focus on themselves first by developing self-awareness, and therefore becoming better at understanding/accepting/regulating emotions, better communication skills, better leadership, decision-making skills, improved relationships, stronger confidence, and overall living a higher level of happiness. This will be accomplished by having an understanding of mindfulness (clarity; present in the moment) through yoga (mats provided), breath work, journaling/reflections, and group work.
