Hello,
My name is Coach Carroll (Mullen) and this is my fourth year teaching here at Cox Mill High School. I will be teaching Freshmen Health and PE and Women's Weight Training. I am originally from Scranton, Pennsylvania where I attended Lackawanna College (associates) and recieved my Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education with a minor in Health Education at West Chester University of Pennsylvania. I am the Assistant Varsity Softball and Basketball coach for the High School. I am also the Head Softball coach at Harris Road Middle School.

This class will rotate between Health and PE every two weeks.
Unit 1- What is Health? / Fitness Tests /Invasion Games
Unit 2- Stress and Relationships / Invasion Games/ Net and Wall Games
Unit 3- Nutrition / Fitness
Unit 4 - Alcohol, Tobacco, And Other Drugs / Mix of everything

Women's Weight Training
The purpose of this class is for the students to have a full understanding of the weight room and the importance of safety. They will learn the primary muscles used in any type of exercise (body weight or weighted), how to properly execute the exercise, and be able to create their own workouts once they leave my class. They will learn many different AMRAP's (As Many Rounds As Possible) which will push them to their limits and keep them in solid shape.
I HIGHLY recommend students do NOT take weight training if they are doing ANY type of training OUTSIDE of school.
