 How to Access Your Microsoft Teams Account  (Note: You must be in your school google email account!)

 

 

I am excited to be a part of the Cox Mill High School family again this year. This will be my twenty-first year in education and my sixth year at Cox Mill High. I received my bachelor's degree from North Carolina State University (GO PACK!) and my master's degree from UNC Pembroke. I am National Board Certified in Adolescence and Young Adulthood Mathematics. This year I will be teaching AB and BC Calculus and Honors Math ll. My husband and I have two grown daughters. My hobbies include traveling, hiking, bicycling, kayaking, sewing, and spending time with my family and our labrador retriever, Mogli.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR VIRTUAL LEARNING: MicroSoft Teams & Canvas: 

1) All classes will meet virtually in MicroSoft Teams Monday-Thursday, Fridays students will not meet virtually but will work on assignments given earlier in the week and listed in their Canvas Course.                         

2) My office hours will be Friday from 12:30-2:00 in Microsoft Teams. You may click on the links below to access my office hours on Friday.  

3) All Classes will access the Learning Management System (LMS) Canvas for Virtual Leaning. 

                                                                

Fees: All Calculus students are required to pay an $18 fee. Pay this fee through "Online Payments" located in the quicklinks on th CMHS homepage.

Calculus students will use  Canvas and complete Modules. The class Syllabus is posted in Canvas. Most graded Homework assgnmentw will be in WebAssign. Some assignments may also be in AP College Board "My Classroom". Make Sure to sign up for both. Some assignments will need to be submitted directly into Canvas. (Students have one week to complete unexcused late assignments for 50% credit.)

Honors Math 2 students will use Canvas and complete Modules. The class syllabus is posted in Canvas. Most homework assignments are in AleksHowever some assignments are worksheets and will need to be submit in Canvas. Tests/assessments may be in School Net or Mastery Connect. (Students have one week to complete unexcused late assignments for 50% credit)

HOMEWORK IS ALWAYS POSTED IN THE CANVAS. Students should look at Canvas daily.
