Welcome to my website! Students and parents can use this site to keep track of my contact information and class schedule. 

I am excited to be joining the Cox Mill family for my 8th year of teaching! I was born and raised in Syracuse, New York where I received my Bachelors in both Art Education and Photography from SUNY Buffalo State College and Masters in Art Education from Syracuse University (GO ORANGE!). In 2014, I moved down to North Carolina with my puppy Rascal to started my teaching career. My husband, Anthony, and I have two Shetland Sheepdogs, Rascal (9 yrs old) and Rookie (3 yrs old), who we absolutely adore. This past December, we welcomed our beautiful sweet baby girl, Sloane, into this world! 

This school year, my courses are Visual Arts Beginning, Digital Photography, and Ceramics Intermediate. All of my classes will be using canvas for their assignments and form of communication. Please feel free to join Canvas as a parent observe for your students (click here for the directions).  I am very passionate about encouraging creative thinking and problem solving, as well as unifying a kind and caring community of creates in my classroom.
