Welcome back for another exciting year of learning at Odell Primary!  I am entering my 17th year of teaching, and my 8th here at Odell.  Prior to teaching at Odell, I taught in Tampa, Florida and Kannapolis, NC. I received my Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education (K-6) with a reading endorsement from Youngstown State University. I also have an AIG (Academically and Intellectually Gifted) local endorsement.  I believe whole-heartedly that every child deserves a high quality education and I hold high standards for ALL of my students. I focus on social-emotional health, critical thinking skills, and having a growth mindset.  I promise that when your child is with me at school, they will be challenged, cared for, and loved!

     I currently live in Concord with my husband Mike, and two children.  My daughter Sophia is 11 and is in the 6th grade at Harris Middle. My son Cooper is 8 and is in 3rd grade at Odell Elementary! We have two dogs, Bella and Desi.

Fun Facts About Me!:

•I grew up in Youngstown, Ohio, which is located in North-Eastern Ohio.

•I am beginning my 17th year of teaching.  I've spent 14 of those in 2nd grade, the rest in 3rd!

•I am a HUGE fan of THE Ohio State Buckeyes..go BUCKEYES! 

•I love to read, go to the beach, and watch Hallmark movies!

•I used to race go karts professionally when I was younger, which is how I met my husband.  We raced against other drivers such as Danica Patrick and Sam Hornish Jr.
