Hello!  My name is Jaslyn Davies. I am the ESL Teacher at Hickory Ridge Elementary School. I am entering my 13th year with Cabarrus County Schools. I grew up on Long Island, NY and moved to North Carolina in 2006. I graduated with a Master of Arts Degree in Teaching Elementary Education from Liberty University. I am currently enrolled in the graduate program at University of North Carolina- Charlotte (UNCC) for Master's of Education in Curriculum & Instruction, with a concentration in Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL). I enjoy reading, watching movies, Twitter chats with fellow educators, and most of all spending time with my family. I embrace every opportunity to learn more about my students. As a life-long learner, I hope to inspire my students to never stop discovering, exploring and growing.
