    Central Cabarrus High School is having a Multicultural Day tomorrow from 4-7:00 pm. You may pick up information sheets in the library. This is a free event that is going to try to have as many countries from around the world represented. There will be food, music, games, and performances.


    Football Cheer tryouts will be held at MPMS on August 1st through August 3rd from 9:00-11:00. Those interested may pick up a flyer in Mrs. Hylton's room.


    Reminder to rising 7th and 8th graders - Student Council applications are due this week! If you like creating and organizing new events, Student Council is the place for you! See Ms. Sirse or Mrs. Cottingham for an application.


    The 2018-2019 MPMS Stagecrafters list is posted on the auditorium doors Congratulations to these students who will be part of the yearlong drama class.

    Attention Students! The Student Assistant application forms for 6th and 7th graders that are interested in working in the Media Center or the Office are due today.


    The Mt. Pleasant High School Student Council applications for rising freshman interested in being a member next year, are due to a box in the front office by 4:00 today.


    This is the last day that orders for pizza for field day will be taken. A student will be coming around to each homeroom to take orders and money this morning.

    Football workouts for rising 9th grade boys with Coach Johns will take place on Monday, May 21st from 4:15-5:30.


    The high school marching band and color guard will continue their rookie camp and tryouts today after school.  All participating students should report to the band room immediately after school. Please have your ride here by 6pm to pick you up.  Dress in shorts, t-shirt, and sneakers and bring your instrument. For more information, please talk to Mr. Grush or Mrs. Blackburn.

    The MPMS Stagecrafters present their final production of the year, "Teachers on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown" tonight and Friday at 7pm. Admission is $3. Come out and support your local student actors!


    Come out and support our TSA and VEX Robotics clubs by going to Zaxby’s in Harrisburg next Tuesday, May 22nd from 5-8pm. 10% of all sales will go to benefit these clubs.


    Any 8th grade girls, interested in tennis next year at the high school, will have a meeting in the gym on Tuesday, May 22, at 3:30.
