• A main purpose of event staff is to provide assistance at athletic events to staff members working in the concessions.  Other potential opportunities include: running the scoreboard at games (softball/baseball), announcing starting lineups (basketball), announcing names at wrestling before matches, moving basketballs at the conclusion of warm-ups before games and during halftime, and providing assistance to the athletic director at athletic events.
     
    Usually, students in 6th grade work with 7th and 8th graders to get experience and are able to work more often in 7th and 8th grade.
     
    Our first event staff meeting will be held on Wed Nov 1 from 4:00-4:50 in Rm 414.  All are invited to attend.  Please have your ride here at 5:00.
