Mrs. Jessica Enlow

One of the joys of teaching is helping students prepare for the future. My goal this year is to help ready my students for their place in the 21st century global economy and experience the joys of science. The links on the left side of the page have class information, and I invite you to visit those links frequently. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns.

   Have a wonderful day!

About Me!

  • I am originally from Anchorage, Alaska, but moved to North Carolina when I was small. I attended college at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte as a North Carolina Teaching Fellow and received my Bachelor's of Science in Biology and Secondary Education. I have worked in many different areas of the science discipline such as Chemistry, Biology, Anatomy & Physiology, as well as Biotechnology. This is my 7th year teaching at Cox Mill High School.

I absolutely LOVE science and love to help my students experience science in a way that will allow them to love it as well. Some underestimate the importance of learning about all of the realms of science and wonder "how can this information be used in my life?" This year we will answer that question time and time again and you will come to realize that your entire world revolves around the workings of physics, the nature of atoms and elements, the relationships of organisms and their environment, and the balance (also called homeostasis) of chemical reactions with our bodily needs.
