Gregory Hall, Principal

Mr. Hall joined Jay M. Robinson as principal in January of 2012.  He previously served as principal at Mt. Pleasant Middle and assistant principal of instruction at Northwest Cabarrus High.  Prior to joining Cabarrus County Schools in 2007, Mr. Hall spent ten years as a high school English teacher and assistant principal in Arizona.  He holds Master of Education degrees in Educational Leadership and Secondary Education and a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education from  Northern Arizona University.

Brad Hinson, Assistant Principal

Mr. Hinson is a native of Cabarrus County and a product of the Cabarrus County School System. He began his educational career as an art teacher after earning a Bachelors of Cultural Arts degree from UNC-Charlotte. He taught art at North Rowan Middle School for eight years. While working there, he also served as the school’s athletic director and coached football and track. A North Carolina Principal Fellow, Mr. Hinson obtained his Masters of School Administration degree from UNC-Charlotte. After spending a year as an administrative intern at JMRHS, Mr. Hinson joined the Central Cabarrus High School administrative unit in 2003. He enjoys movies, working on old cars, and spending time with family. He is excited about being a part of the JMRHS administrative team.

Stacey Douglas, Assistant Principal

Mr. Douglas joined the Robinson staff in August of 2007.  He holds a Bachelor of Science in Social Science Education-History from Fayetteville-State University in Fayetteville, North Carolina, and a Master of Arts degree in School Administration from Gardner-Webb University. Before joining the Robinson family, he taught Social Studies at Albemarle Road Middle School in Charlotte for twelve years. He also coached Boys Basketball for the past six years as well as football, girls basketball and volleyball.  
Mr. Douglas is a native of Concord and a graduate of Concord High School. He is married and enjoys spending time with his wife and family. He is also a die hard fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, North Carolina Tarheels and the Syracuse Orange.

Dr. Amanda Macon, Assistant Principal  of Instruction


Dr. Macon joined the Robinson staff in 2016.  Prior to coming to JROB, she taught 7th grade science at Hickory Ridge Middle School. Before returning to the classroom for a semester, she served as the Director in the Office of Teacher Education Advising, Licensure, and Recruitment at UNC Charlotte and as the Assistant Director of the NC New Teacher Support Program. Prior to these positions, she was the Teacher Recruiter at UNC Charlotte and a middle school math and science teacher at CC Griffin Middle School. Dr. Macon earned a B.A. in Middle Grades Education, an M.Ed. in Middle and Secondary Education and a doctorate in Educational Leadership at UNC Charlotte. She is the mother of three and wife to Ken, a high school English teacher at West Stanly High School.
