Ms. Xin Wang

My name is Xin Wang.( 王新) I was born and grew up in China. I was raised in a family that valued education and learning.  Before coming to America I taught college courses in business organization and marketing for 22 years.

My first job in America was teaching Chinese language. I taught in Virginia and in Tennessee from 2006 to 2012. I have taught in North Carolina since then. I teach four levels of Chinese language at high school. Also since 2017 I have taught in the elementary 3rd grade Chinese immersion program.

I have one daughter who is an architect in Norway. I enjoy doing tai-chi, cooking traditional Chinese dishes, and traveling, especially to see the many beautiful historical places in America.

I particularly enjoy sharing my Chinese cultural experiences with my students and teaching them the Chinese language. My hope is that I can contribute in preparing them to be global citizens in the 21stcentury!
