Mrs. Amy Shoe
Welcome to Sixth Grade at Concord Middle School!
Mrs. Shoe is excited to work with you this year as you begin your middle school journey. She was born in Cabarrus County and is a proud product of our school system. She is currently in her twenty-fifth year of teaching in Cabarrus County and her fifth year at Concord Middle. Prior to coming to CMS, she taught for twenty years at Beverly Hills Elementary (third and fifth grades). She has been married for twenty-five years and has two children, a daughter (20) and a son (17). Her family enjoys spending time at the beach, playing with their puppies (Zeus and Pearl), and bowling.

Important Information for May 23-June 9 , 2022
*We will be reviewing sixth grade concepts and skills to prepare for the Math End of Grade Test, which will be on Wednesday, June 1.
*Quarter 4 began Tuesday, March 29 and ends Thursday, June 9. Please encourage your child to turn in all assignments on time and to make up work when absent. All math assignments are updated weekly on Canvas. It is your child's responsibility to complete these assignments and turn them in to Mrs. Shoe.
*Please continue to check Power School for your child's grades and any missing assignments. These need to be completed and turned in as soon as possible. The last day to turn in Quarter 4 assignments is Friday, June 3.
*Students are responsible for passing at least 2 iReady math assignments every week. This is a weekly grade.
*Thursday, May 26 = Reading EOG Test
*Monday, May 30 = Memorial Day Holiday.
*Wednesday, June 1 = Math EOG Test
*Tuesday, June 7 = Field Day
*Wednesday, June 8 = Awards Day
*Thursday, June 9 = Last Day of School (Early Dismissal at 1:00)
