I have been teaching Visual Arts at Central Cabarrus for thirteen years.  I love ART and believe that all students can be successful in art courses.  My specialization is in Ceramics although I enjoy exploring all forms of Visual Arts. 
  • Students, 

    During this time of uncertainty, please follow the CDC guidelines to keep yourselves and your families safe.  I miss seeing all of you at school.  

    Continue to check Google Classroom for updates regarding our class.  


    Week of March 27-April 3: 

    Daily supplemental materials will be provided.  Though these are not required, they are highly encouraged. 


    Week of April 6-10:

    NEW material will be posted along with resources and videos to support your learning. 

    Office hours begin.



    8-8:30: First Period (Art)

    11-11:30: Third Period (Ceramics)

    1-1:30: Fourth Period (Ceramics)

Important Information

  • Our classes will be using Google Classroom.  Please check for assignments, materials and missed work.


    All Arts Courses have a fee to defray the cost of Art Supplies.  The fees may be paid in cash, or by check made payable to Central Cabarrus High School.  Students will receive a receipt for fees paid.  

    Visual Arts: $10

    Ceramics: $20


    In addition, all students will need:

    a spiral bound sketchbook or a composition notebook and pencils


    We are always in need of:

    newspapers, unscented lotion, colored pencils or markers and small containers with lids 

    *We can use many items you may not consider "art" materials!
