Ms. Kate Quigley

This will be the start of my 21st year of teaching and I am lucky to have been at HES for all of them!! I attended Appalachian State for my undergraduate degree and graduated in 2001 with a BS in Elementary Education with a concentration in History. I then went on to graduate school and received my Masters in Elementary Education at UNC-Charlotte in 2007.

I taught seventeen years in fifth grade and this will be my fourth year teaching fourth grade. I am currently serving as Secretary on our PT0 Executive Board I am also the Lead Clinical Educator for UNCC.

Communication is very important so Mrs. James and I will send out a newsletter every Sunday via email. It will be come through a program called SMORE. This is an online tool I can use to make the newsletter easy to read as well as add importnat links for you and pictures of our week.
