My name is Tina Platek and I am the Media Coordinator at JMRHS . This is my first year running the library but will be my 16th year at JMRHS. I look forward to helping and supporting students, teachers, and families through literacy and community.
I am originally from Erie, Pennsylvania and attended Baldwin-Wallace College in Berea, Ohio for a Bachelor's Degree in English. I have been at Robinson since my graduation in 2005. I obtained my National Board Certification in English in November of 2011 in English. I have also attended trainings county wide and through the JOMC at Chapel Hill on Broadcasting and video editing.
In the summer of 2017 I won a grant from Miriam and Robert Hayes Charitable Trust with a trip to Germany. I am currently obtaining my Maters Degree in Library Science at Appalachain State University.
