I was born and raised in North Canton, Ohio. I graduated from North Canton Hoover High School. After high school, I attended the University of Akron. Go, Zips!
I met my future wife, Cara, and this led me to a teaching job in Charlotte, NC. I began teaching at Central Cabarrus High School in 1994. I later took a teaching position at Jay M. Robinson High School when it opened in 2001, and I've been here ever since. I've taught physics, physical science, earth/environmental science, and biology.
When I'm not teaching science and cracking corny jokes and puns, I spend time with my family, and enjoy watching sports and science programs on TV when I get a chance. I've enjoyed coaching my two sons in varying sports through the years, and I've had a lot of success at it.
I look forward to meeting all of you and beginning another great year here at Jay M. Robinson High School, but you better get used to me talking about my favorite teams: the Ohio State Buckeyes (It's been over 2000 days since TTUN last beat the Buckeyes in football!!!), the Pittsburgh Steelers (6 Lombardi trophies!!!), the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Cleveland Indians, and the Detroit Red Wings!
