My name is Anne Luker and I teach the self-contained Abilities and Possibilities class here at West Cabarrus High School. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree from Belmont Abbey College and a Masters of Education degree from UNCC..I am embarking on my 26th year teaching and I have enjoyed every year I have taught. I have been so Blessed by the students that I have taught and the amazing taff that i have worked with over the years.
I have had the pleasure of working with Miss Jerusha Wilson for 20 years and we have had many fun experiences working together as a team. She is such a hard worker and has such a wonderful vision for our students. It is truly a pleasure to work alongside of her everyday. We have a wonderful class and create many fun memories for each of our students.
We have a new teacher assistant joining us this year. Her name is Tenine Anderson. She is coming to us from Jay M. Robinson High School. Tenine is extremely experienced in Special Education and has worked in many various areas. She has helped us and knows our students. This is a big benefit to our class because Tenine is such a team player and so willing to help whenever she is needed.
We are ready for a wonerful school year even though it is not starting out the way we want it to. Just remember, its not how you start, it is how you finish. Here's to 2020/2021. Go Wolverines!!!!
