Mrs. Jenny Sinclair

My name is Jenny Sinclair and I am thrilled to be at Cox Mill Elementary serving students in kindergarten-2nd grade as their school counselor.  I am from North Carolina and have lived in NC all of my life.  I grew up in Lexington, NC and went to undergraduate school at North Carolina State University.  I majored in middle grades education and taught 6th-8th grade for seven years before making the switch to school counseling.  In May of 2007 I earned my master’s degree from UNC-Charlotte in school counseling and have been at Cox Mill since 2010.  I truly love my job!!  My primary role as school counselor is to help students. I do this in a variety of ways including classroom guidance, short term individual counseling, and small groups.
