ELA - Mrs. Banks

Hello! I am Mrs. Banks and this is my third year as a 7th Grade ELA teacher at Winkler Middle! I have 24 years of teaching experience. I am orginally from Mansfield/Cleveland Ohio. I am a graduate of Ashland University in Ashland Ohio.  My husband and I moved to North Carolina in July 2000. My career in education started in the Cleveland Charter Schools in 1997.  I have taught and worked with elementary students for most of my teaching career.

My husband and I are happy parents to 5 amazing girls! My oldest daughter will be beginning her freshman year at A & T University this fall!  I enjoy reading and spending time with my family and friends. I look forward to an amazing year of learning and especially getting to know each of you!
