As we all know, we are having to adjust and go to an online/digital learning format. I would like my students to know that I am currently working on setting up a Google Classroom to distribute lessons and a Remind App to help communicate with you and your parents. As soon as they are finaized, I will share the Google Classroom and the Remind App codes accordingly. I will not be using Microsoft Teams. If at anytime you have a question or concern do not hesitate to email me. I will respond within 24 hours. Please continue to come back and check my page regularly for more updates. Stay safe, and stay fit!

  • ANNOUNCEMENT

    PE 4th Quarter Grades,April 6 - May 1

Per Cabarrus County Schools policy, 4th quarter PE grades will be calculated as follows: We will use student's 2nd quarter grade as a starting point. Then we will add the number of points earned for 4th quarter assignments to the 2nd quarter grade to come up with the 4th quarter grade.  Points for 4th quarter will be based on how many of the 10 graded assignments a student completes. Each assignment is worth 10 percent or 1 pt. (click here for the CCS Rubric). If for some reason we do not return to school on 5/18, we will adjust the number of assignments and their values accordingly. If for some reason you have a question, please contact me.

    For example:

A student who has a 2nd quarter grade of 85 and completes 10 of the assignments will receive a 95 for 4th quarter.

85 (2nd quarter grade) plus 10 pts (all ten assignments completed) = 95 4th quarter grade!
