Hi, and thanks for checking out my web page. I just wanted to take a minute to tell you a little bit about who I am. I am starting my 16th year teaching at Rocky River. During that time, I have taught 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 5th. I am beginning my second year returning to second grade after teaching first grade for two years. I am super excited about meeting all of you and this upcoming school year. I grew up in the Pittsburgh area. I graduated from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in History. A few fun things that I like to do when I am not teaching are to take day trips, read a good mystery book, or watch comedy movies, and play and watch sports. My favorite sports teams to watch are the Pittsburgh Penguins, Pirates, and Steelers.
The best way to contact me with any questions and or updates is through ClassDojo. More information on how to sign up will be coming your way after the school year is underway and thanks for checking out my web page.

This matter will be addressed at the next business meeting of this school board with guidance from the COVID-19 Task Force and recommendation by the Superintendent.
"What is Morning Meeting and Message?"
Morning meeting is an engaging way to start each day, build a strong sense of community, and set children up for success socially and academically. To accomplish this, we will gather together to do up to the four purposeful components listed below:
- Greeting: Students and teachers greet one another by name.
- Sharing: Students share information about something about themselves. Listeners can offer comments or ask questions for more details.
- Group Activity: Everyone will participate in a short activity that helps students practice their social and academic skills.
- Morning Message: This is a message we read together. It is a perfect way to weave reading, writing, word study, or math into a quick daily lesson.
