Ms. Mizera

This is my twelfth year teaching, my seventh at Patriots STEM Elementary.  I love being a teacher and wake up every morning looking forward to being with the students.  Originally a Chicago girl, I have become a southern girl after being here for over 20 years.  I live in Concord with my husband, John, two children (19 and 11), and three bonus (step) children (18, 14, and 11).  We also have three dogs and a cat.  My daughter is a college sophomore at Rowan Cabarrus Community College, studying nursing and has a Dunn Quarter horse named Durango.  My son is a fifth grader here at Patriots and he loves Minecraft.  My bonus children go to Stanly County Schools.  I like photography, football, and am a faithful Cubs fan.
